To Make a Copy of a Serialized Item
You can copy existing serialized items. This is useful if you need to create multiple serialized items that have similar properties and/or relationships. During the copy process the system will ask for a new serialized item number followed by a display of all possible attribute and relationships which the user might or might not choose to copy. All field data (such as description, units of measure, etc.) will be copied into the details of the new serialized item.

Open the object you want in the Content pane.

Click the Copy icon
in the action bar.
The Copy Serialized Item dialog opens. If a serialized item mask exists, the system will assign the next available number. You can also choose to manually enter the number and/or use the Auto Number icon to increment the number to the next available number.
- Accept or enter the desired number.

Select the relationships to copy.
By default most of the check boxes are selected.

Click Copy.
The new serialized item details displays in the Content pane. You can now updates attributes and/or relationships for the new serialized item.
